Authentic or Exploitation: The effects of nature in a concrete society - 2024 Trend Report
One of my favourite aspects of fashion is trends. I was able to learn more about this through my trend forecasting module, where I conducted research and developed a trend report along with my team. We specifically looked at the food and drink and travel and hospitality industries from the aspect of wellness.
I enjoyed this project as I was able to conduct in-depth research into emerging technologies, changing social environments, political issues and the state of the environment - which in turn allowed me to look more broadly at the fashion landscape and impactors.
From this, we were able to develop a successful trend report for 2024 which discussed how to target consumers and the changes in the luxury food and travel sectors.
The future of 2024 engages consumers through holistic approaches, examining the relationship between humanity and nature. Futuristic developments have purpose, with multiple benefits to modern societies.
